NDIS

At Illawarra rehabilitation clinic we are a locally owned business here to assist local people with their disability.  As you already know we are Physiotherapists and Exercise physiologists who work in private practice to provide one on one service.  We tailor everything we do to be in a one to one setting - hence why our patients get the best results and love coming here!

It is quite simple - If you have musculoskeletal or neurological condition with secondary comorbidities then we can help!  However we would love to know more yourself, your patient and their disability.  Please either call our clinic or follow the link below and shoot us off an email.  We would love to talk to you to see how we can help.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a great initiative by the Australian Government in assisting people with disabilities.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a program that provides support and funding to Australians with permanent and significant disabilities. The NDIS was established in 2013 and is administered by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).  The NDIS is designed to provide people with disabilities greater choice and control over the supports they receive. Under the scheme, eligible individuals receive funding to purchase the disability-related services and equipment they need to achieve their goals and live a full and independent life.

To be eligible for the NDIS, individuals must have a permanent and significant disability that affects their ability to perform everyday tasks. The disability must also be likely to be lifelong, and require support from other people or technology to manage.
